Are you trying to do your 3dcube like this...

if you are this is how to do it...like the admin said you can go to animation one to get three pictures...

Here is another way of doing this..
but if you to do it the way I did this here I did mine

once you upload your picture go to effect then click on 3dcube and then go to cutting tool and click on that and trace around one of the square of the picture the click on cut selection and then you will have a transparent background on the part of the image you traced around then go to edit and click on copy image to clipboard. then go upload another picture then go to effect and click on 3dcube and then go to the cutting tool and trace around the photo but in a different place then once you get through tracing around the photo area click on cut selection then you will go to edit and click on paste image from the clipboard.... then once you have pasted the cube over the other cube in the right place that you want it apply...then go to edit and go click on copy image to clipboard then go upload the third image and you will go to effect then go click 3dcube then go click on the cutting tool and trace the third picture in a different area of the photo from the other two images... then once you are through tracing go click on cut selection then go to edit and paste image from the clipboard and place the cube on the other cube and apply and then you are done...

Hope this will you or anyone else out..
